Annie is a lovely female Greyhound and she will be 2 years old in April. Annie is a very good natured dog who loves her walks on the lead and a gallop around the field and she is very clean in her kennel and will be easy to train in the house but BEWARE that some Greyhounds can be great counter surfers. She loves the company of other dogs and with training and proper introduction she can be trained to smaller dogs with love and patience. Like all Greyhounds she will only need normal exercise that any dog gets and will curl up in her bed or on the couch if allowed. Ollie Ollie is a smashing 2 year old dalmation. Sadly, as with many dalmations, Ollie is deaf. He is an extremely loving dog who will make a wonderful pet for any family with the time and devotion to train him properly. Deaf dogs can be trained to respond to a variety of hand signals and we will give any potential adopters as much advice as we can to get them started! Ollie is vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. When I came from the pound I have very sore ears and flaky skin but thanks to a fantastic foster mother I am now restored to full health. I am a happy go lucky guy. Barney My name is Barney. I was surrendered to the pound just before Christmas with my pal Freddie when our owner got very ill and had to go into hospital. We were so sad and confused in there and missing our master. But A Dogs Life took us out and sent us to kennels and we are doing great there. We are both 5 years old and great with other dogs. We are also both very good on lead, well trained and obedient. The girls at A Dogs Life think we are probably house trained too. We are both very nice, intelligent, well behaved boys. Our most favourite thing to do is play ball. Our ideal forever home would be one together but we can go separately either....the main thing would be that we would have a nice loving home for the rest of our days. Ruby My name is Ruby and they tell me that I am beautiful inside and out - but I don't like to brag! I am about three and a half years old and completely house trained (but that's only the start - I am oh so clever!). I love to play fetch and learn new tricks - I already know sit, down, stay and I can even play dead - those in the know say I am super trainable. I love my daily exercise but once I get that I am happiest flaking out on the sofa beside (or on top of) my favourite person! My leash walking is very good and I am good with kids but not with cats - those guys are so much fun to chase - I dream about it sometimes! I really want to find an active family of my own to have adventures with. I am not interested in other dogs I much prefer people. Don't get me wrong other dogs are grand and I meet them out and about on walks but I wouldn't like to live with them full-time. I prefer to be the centre of attention. Lucas Male labrador cross looking for good home as owners emigrating to Canada in two weeks time. Approx. 1.5 yrs old. Neutered. Great companion and guard dog. Thatcher My name is Thatcher and I am a 12 month old Rottweiler male. I came into the pound as a stray but no-one came to reclaim me. Thankfully A Dog's Life got me out to boarding and now I am in a foster home and doing brilliant there. I am a fun loving guy, love to play and investigate things but also love my cuddles and am very keen to please and easy to train - especially if there is food involved! Babe My name is Babe and I am just 1 year old . When I came into the pound I had terrible mange with open sores all over my body & I was SO itchy. I was very depressed then too. The mange made me feel miserable all of the time. But thanks to treatment from my wonderful foster mum I am now 100% recovered. No more mange and my hair has grown back. I love life now & I have a lot of catching up to do. I am fun loving and great with other dogs. Zoe is a healthy beautiful big girl, she is so affectionate,she's a big baby and will snuggle up to anyone. Omar My name is Omar and I am a mastiff x male (except smaller!) aged about 12-18 months. I am a good boy, quite good on lead and good with other dogs. Suri Suri was found in Limerick with a badly injured front leg with was full of infection. He was in an awful lot of pain and discomfort. He was rushed to a vet where he was immediatly put on pain relief and shortly after had to go on the operating table to have the leg removed as it could not be saved. Suri is now resting and getting better in the sanctuary. He is very friendly and loves a cuddle. He is very gentle and will make a great pet in the right home. Suri will need an indoor home. Labrador Cross Breed Female Labrador Cross breed needs good home. Owners emigrating in less than two weeks time so this is an urgent appeal for a good owner to come forward. This dog has been reared with young children and had one set of puppies about 9 months ago.
