Kiki Kiki who is about 6 months old, was found in Bishopstown in September and has been living indoors since. He is friendly, very playful and mischievous and has a hearty appetite. Shadow and Tigger Shadow and Tigger were recently rescued from the street after their mother was killed by a car. They were infested with lice and ringworm and were in a sorry state, but after veterinary attention, they are well on the road to recovery! They are now in a kind foster home and are nervous and shy but are gaining confidence daily. Silus Silus is an adorable male kitten approx 3-4 months old. He was found abandoned with an injured leg. As a result he has a bit of a bendy front leg but it causes him no trouble. Harvey Harvey is an 18 month old male cat who is a very playful, happy young cat that loves affection, but is also happy to sit in the background and watch the world go by. He is looking for a new home as his owner had to move back to England and sadly couldnt take him. We found him a home but there was already a 6 year old cat who unfortunately she did not get on with him. Harvey would be best suited to a home with no other cats, or cats that would be tolerant of having a new cat around.�He would also do well with a dog that gets on with cats.�We would really like his next home to be a permanent residence as Harvey has had a very erratic start to family life. Hades Hades is a neutered male cat approx 18 months old. He is a stunning black, sleek cat with a lanky build. Hades is FIV positive but in perfect health, in fact he pretty much bounces. Anyone who wishes to adopt him should understand that he will need a little more TLC than your average cat! He is a very playful, loveable boy who loves to sleep at the end of the bed. Micho Micho � Dr Jeckel or Mr Hyde? February this year, Micho found himself abandoned and in need of the ACS to take him under their wing. Micho won us all over by being very friendly and full of purrs, following his carers round as would a dog and often looking for attention, but it was obvious from the start that Micho wasn�t the shy, timid type and that he clearly knew his own mind. Unfortunately, Micho�s own mind is his hindrance � Micho likes things, Micho�s way and isn�t one to be forced into doing something that he doesn�t want to do � trying to make him brings out his Mr Hyde side and he will lash out, full guns blazing! On top of that, he isn�t the biggest fan of other animals either � he needs to be dominant and is quite happy to fight his way to the top! Due to Micho�s ways, he has become a huge problem to re-home. Could you give Micho the home he�s longing for? Micho loves the outdoors, which we are unable to provide for him. He needs a home where he is allowed to come and go as he likes, where there are no other pets and no young children who may pick him up or fuss him when he just wants to be left alone. Dara Dara is a young neutered female, that came a long way from being a feral. See is very gentle and loving with my other cats, and she loves to be petted when she approached me, but the other way round she is still quite nervous. I hope to find a quiet and understanding home for her, she is so lovely once she forgets to be afraid. Other cats would help her a lot settling in. Indoor home would be perfect. Cats The North DSPCA often has lovely young (and older) adult cats available for adoption. Please consider an adult cat- while kittens are adorable, they grow quickly and will be adults before you know it! If you are out working or are retired, it may be more suitable for you to have an adult cat, who will be content to laze around the house and will be just as affectionate and happy to see you on your return home, as a kitten will! Adult cats are always in dire need of homes....please give one a chance! Also bear in mind that any cat you adopt will need to be kept indoors for a minimun of six weeks until he/she becomes totally familiar with new surroundings. Guinness Gorgeous Guinness is just eighteen months old. He has a condition called Eosinophilic Granuloma which his new owner will need to keep an eye on. Guinness has it in his mouth but has been to our vet for treatment and had two,long-acting steroid injections.Our vet tells us that the condition can reoccur so we are appealling for for a special home for Guinness with a caring owner who will bring him to the vet if he has another bout.Guinness is neutered but he cannot start his vaccinations until April due to long-acting steroid injection. Leroy Adorable Tabby Kitten, 6 months old in urgent need of a loving home. My wonderful mother took in this poor little dote when she found him on her doorstep. He was in dire need of some food and TLC. He is so loving and affectionate and loves nothing more than sitting on your lap for a cuddle! He is fully litter trained too. She would love to keep him, but unfortunately her 3 non cat loving dogs are demanding otherwise! He really deserves a wonderful loving home. Gerry Gerry is a very loving male cat, neutered, 2 and a half years old, would be suited to a single cat house hold needs to be the only cat in the house and possibly the only animal. Has been kept up to date with all his jabs and is very healthy. He had an accident when he was 6 months old and has a small part of his tale mid section which is missing it's fur as a result but no other problems. We are having to find him a new home as he is bullying our other cats very badly and it is not fair on them or on him hence why we recommend that he be homed in a house on his own. Poppy is a 7 year old house cat. She is very affectionate and loves to be cuddled. She is spayed and house trained. We have her for the past 5 years and it breaks our heart that we have to let her go. Mr Ice Mr. Ice is a handsome sophisticated male cat. He is around 3 or 4 yrs old and is neutered and vaccinated. He was brought to us with an injured tail which unfortunately had to be amputated but that hasn�t stopped him from being very communicative. He loves lounging around the house in the sun and sharing his bed, he has lived with other cats and dogs, so is a really friendly chap. He also has the most gorgeous green eyes! Uncle Nacho and 2 kittens I am looking for a home for the adult cat at the right and the 2 kittens at the left, the fellow in the middle has already been homed. The kitten in the very back is male and already neutered, the one in front of him is a female. Both now between 4-5 months. Nacho is a neutered male and kind of adopted the kittens when I got them. All 3 litter trained, they will probably be a bit nervous for the first few days, but they are so lovely and affectionate once they know you. Nacho was a stray and the kittens were born to a stray mother, but fed by people in their bed garden.
