This sweet girl has been returned to our kennels as she was a little jealous of another dog in the household and we feel she would be more suited to being an only dog. Dilly is typical of her breed in that she gives 150% affection and just ADORES cuddling up on the sofa with her human friends. She is quiet and calm in the house and is not a high energy dog that needs a huge amount of exercise either, a great dog all-round! However, poor Dilly does not do well in a kennel environment and she gets terribly lonely and agitated. For this reason, we are desperate to find Dilly even a temporary home (without any other dogs) before she goes downhill while she waits for her new home. www.madra.ie

Nukka is a 2 year old Alaskan Malamute. She is a lovely dog, but can be unpredictable with other dogs. For this reason she needs to be an only dog, or possibly with a big, fairly dominant male, but with an extensive introduction. She has been a much loved family pet, and has been very reluctantly put up for rehoming. She is obedient, although sometimes a little bit stubborn, as her breed tends to be. She has been worked in harness and enjoys it. She needs an experienced home, with someone who will be gentle but firm with her. Due to her size it would be best if there were no children under 12 in the home. She is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped.

This is Olli, who had previously been posted as needing a home with Pippa, but we've decided to let them go their separate ways. Olli has just gone 5 years of age, he's neutered, vaccinated etc. He is a very cuddly, sweet-natured little fella who really enjoys squishing up beside you to watch TV. He's good on his lead, good with other dogs, and good in the car. Although he hasn't lived with children he'll be fine with visiting kids. He is pretty much housetrained but as he was living outside he can forget himself in the house, so will need a little bit more tuition in his new home. Like most Westies he's not a cat fan! See is very gentle and loving with my other cats, and she loves to be petted when she approached me, but the other way round she is still quite nervous. Just two and a half years old, recently-arrived Kelly arrived here in early December 2009 as a stray, with a very poor and raggedy coat, irritated skin, hungry as a horse, and so tired you could knock her over with a feather. She is a very small lady, quiet, biddable, appreciative, and yet well able to share living space with 5 very robust and active greyhounds. Kelly is exceptionally keen about toileting outside and is very quiet on the leash, so much so a child could walk her. This little darling will make a lovely quiet companion. Ruby is beautiful girl with a personality to match and is about 3.5 years old. She is completley housetrained and loves to play fetch etc. She sleeps all night in her crate without any fuss. Once exercised Ruby is happiest flaking out on the sofa beside (or on top of) her favourite person - she actually thinks she is a lap-dog! Ruby has all of her basic commands and some tricks too and loves learning - she is a very trainable dog. Her leash walking is very good. Ciara is a small-medium 6 year old who is a well-behaved and well socialised lady. Very good on the leash and in the car, Ciara adjusted to life here very easily, and blended immediately with the other dogs. No shrinking violet, however, she can run hard and play hard with the rest of them, though seems to be well able to keep the hooligans in line should they start playing a bit too hard. She does not have a tendency to jump up or be over-exuberant, (though she loves a good roll in the grass) and so might do well in a family with smaller children. I am looking for a home for the adult cat at the right and the 2 kittens at the left, the fellow in the middle has already been homed. The kitten in the very back is male and already neutered, the one in front of him is a female. Both now between 4-5 months. Nacho is a neutered male and kind of adopted the kittens when I got them. All 3 litter trained, they will probably be a bit nervous for the first few days, but they are so lovely and affectionate once they know you. Nacho was a stray and the kittens were born to a stray mother, but fed by people in their bed garden.
