ADDRESS: Monaghan SPCA (Emyvale Shelter) 1 mile from Aughnacloy, Co. Tyrone
WEBSITE: www.monaghanspca.ie
INFO: Located at Killadonagh (outside Emyvale) the Monaghan Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (MSPCA) has been serving the Monaghan area since 1996. We are a non-profit rescue shelter dedicated to saving unwanted, abandoned and abused dogs. We provide rescue, medical care, rehabilitation, and adoption services in the Monaghan and surrounding areas. Our dedicated volunteers provide the love, care, and attention they deserve until a new caring home can be found.

The animals in our care come to us through no fault of their own. Most have been pulled from "death row" from the dog pound, some have been rescued from abusive situations, others come to us after they have lost their way home or their owners are unable to care for them. Our shelter typically houses 25 dogs/puppies of all ages, shapes, and sizes. Some are purebred and some are mixed breeds—charming "mutts" who make wonderful companions. MSPCA dogs are all spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and treated for other medical conditions. The MSPCA works to find qualified adoptive homes for all the animals in our care, while keeping the commitment to providing a safe and healthy haven for as long as may be necessary.
