Tootsie and Sugar I adopted these two friendly cats in 2008 � Tootsie and Sugar, who are a mother and son aged approx 7 and 9 years old. I gave birth to my daughter last year and unfortunately she was a sick baby and is prone to chest infections. I was advised to rehome my cats. Im heartbroken over this, but I have to put my daughter first. If there is any kind person who would take on these pets into a loving, childfree home please let me know, as I absolutely don�t want to have them put down. Noah My Name is Noah. I am about 4-5 years old and a rottweiller male. When I came into the pound I had really really sore eyes....vets said it was one of the worst cases of entropian they had ever seen......but the girls at A Dogs Life arranged for me to have surgery and now my eyes are almost 100% better. My foster mum says I am a lovely quiet dog - I just recently found my bark! I am excellent with all other dogs and children, the poodle in my foster home bosses me around! I am house trained and good on lead. Although not completely deaf I am hearing impaired but this doesn't bother me at all really. I am probably a bit to strong for small children due to my sheer size. I like other dogs and would probably suit a home with another large dog to play with as I get on very well with the rottie I am in foster with. All in all I am a very pleasant big giant who likes to lounge around and is very easy going. Because of my poor hearing A Dogs Life are not looking for a rehoming fee for me......just a loving forever home, where I will have a secure place, have a buddy to play with, a nice comfy bed to sleep in at night and lots of love. Amber Amber is a beautiful 12-18month old lurcher.She is a gentle girl who gets on well with other dogs and is currently in foster with children who she is very gentle with. Sonas Sonas is a beautiful 3 year old whippet x who came into rescue in terrible condition. Larsson *Booked* Larsson is a 6 year old Golden Retriever boy looking for a new home through no fault of his own. His owner moved out of the family home, and Larsson was left to the elderly parents to look after but they�re not pysically capable of doing that properly. Wesley My name is Wesley and I am a fabulous hairy lurcher x male aged 1-2 years. I am a steady, calm, easy going boy and I am great with other dogs. I am crate trained and house and I settle very quickly and am very quiet when it is time for bed. I have lots of favourite things. I love my walks and I walk well on lead. I also LOVE all people (including children) and my foster mum says that I wag my tail so much now it lifts my whole back end off the floor! Pammie This pretty little girl is Pammie. About the size of a sml Bichon She is just under a year old She was found just before Christmas completely emaciated. Her little nails were so long she could hardly walk Her coat was badly matted & filthy, her back legs were burnt from urine where she had obviously been kept in such a small area for very long periods. Initially when she arrived with us She was very shy & nervous. Thankfully after a few weeks of Good food, a warm spacious bed and ample amounts of TLC Pammie has bounced back and is like a different Dog. Seamus Seamus is a 12-14 week old silver tabby. He was found abandoned in the freezing cold by a very kind lady. He has won us all over by being very friendly and full of purrs, following us around as would a dog and often looking for attention, it was obvious from the start that he wasn't the shy, timid type and that he clearly knew his own mind. He loves to play with everyone and everything and is SUPER confident. He gets on great with other cats and also our two dogs. Blue Blue (aka Boo) is a neutered american bulldog male aged 2-3 years. He came to us as a cruelty case and was completely emaciated with ribs protruding, pressure sores all over his body and nails so long he could hardly walk. Thanks to the most wonderful foster mum though, he has been nursed back to health. He is very well behaved, fully house trained and crate trained. He is great with other dogs and is fine with cats and small furries as long as they are used to dogs as if they run he will chase but when he catches up just sniffs them. He is good on lead and walks well off lead. He loves kids and does not jump up. He will sit and lay down on command and loves learning. He loves his toys and will share and play with other dogs. We are looking for an extra special home for Blue as he has food allergies and needs to eat a special cereal free dog food and is on meds to avoid skin flare ups. He would love a home with a family where someone is home all the time. His ideal home would be with a family with another dog and where there was someone home most of the time. His new family will also need to be prepared for his special dietary and medication needs. He is very low maintenance in terms of exercise as he is only able for about 15 minute walks at present because of the condition he was in when we got him....and he needs to build himself up to longer walks. He is fully vaccinated, neutered and microchipped. Basil is a lovable little guy, always up for some fun, he loves the company of other cats, he has a way of getting even the toughest of cats to fall for him. Basil will be a very hansome adult cat. Buster My name is Buster and I am a 3 year old spaniel x male. I was so sad when I was surrendered to the pound a few months back. I didn't know what I had done wrong. I was also very skinny and matted. But since A Dogs Life took me from the pound and found me a lovely foster family things have been great. My foster mum says I am very affectionate, loyal, and gentle. I have to admit I just love cuddles. I can be a little shy at first but am generally great with people and other dogs and I am living with children so am good with them too and could go to a home with older children aged 7 +. I am a little strong on a normal lead so Anne the lovely training lady recommended a front lead harness which works well and will go with me to my new home. I am great off lead and have good recall. I love to play fetch and will bring back the ball every time and will even give it to you in exchange for a nice treat! Bella My name is Bella and I am a 2-3 year old staffie female. I am a typical super friendly, cuddly, wriggly staffie. I love running around as fast as my little legs will carry me but then once I am exercised lounging around sounds good to me! I am good with other dogs and cats too (once introduced properly) - I live with two cats! I am good on lead and would love to go to a home with people who like to go walking or even running as I have plenty of stamina for exercise. I am house trained and once I have had my daily exercise I love lounging on the couch. I love everyone I meet and am good with children also.
